Socio-environmental actions

The Associação D Esportiva e Cultural Capoeira Besouro Mangangá has a responsibility to society and the environment. This is a space where we share with you the actions we carry out in alignment with some of the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) of the 2030 Agenda.

What is Agenda 2030?
The 193 UN member states, including Brazil, have committed to adopting the so-called Post-2015 Agenda.
Considered one of the most ambitious in the history of international diplomacy. Through it, nations will work towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The SDGs represent a global action plan to eliminate extreme poverty and hunger, provide lifelong quality education for all, protect the planet, and promote peaceful and inclusive societies by 2030.
They are based on commitments to children and adolescents in the areas of poverty, nutrition, health, education, water and sanitation, and gender equality contained in the precursors to the SDGs, the Millennium Development Goals .
The SDGs also include new goals and targets related to the protection of children and adolescents, early childhood education, and the reduction of inequalities.
This new agenda presents a historic opportunity to improve the rights and well-being of every child and adolescent, especially the most disadvantaged, and to ensure a healthy planet for the girls and boys of today and for future generations.
UNICEF welcomes this ambitious and universal 'action plan for people, planet and prosperity' and commits to doing everything possible to achieve its goals.
We will work in partnership with governments, civil society, businesses, universities and other United Nations agencies – and especially with children, adolescents and young people – to strengthen what works, innovate to improve solutions and outcomes, measure progress and share lessons learned.
