The Capoeira Besouro Mangangá Capoeira Sports and Cultural Association was founded in 1971 by Mestre Lobão, Esdras Filho and Tenente Esdras Magalhães (Mestre Damião) in the city of São José dos Campos / SP. The aim of the Association is to contribute to the social and cultural development of the population, through the dissemination of Arte Capoeira in the city of São José dos Campos, São Luiz do Paraitinga, Jacareí and also in different countries, such as Japan, Mexico, Colombia and Australia.
